Mashrou3 Dactoor Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
Mashrou3 Dactoor ("the App", "we", "us") is an educational video platform used to distribute medical course content and by students to view it. This policy explains what information we collect through the App, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
- Account information — name, email address, and phone number, provided when you register.
- Device identifier — a unique identifier for your device, used to enforce a one-device-per-account security limit that prevents a single account from being shared across many devices.
- Enrollment status — which courses you are enrolled in and whether that enrollment is currently active, used to control access to course content.
- Security/access logs — each time the App requests a course video's decryption key, we log a timestamp, the lecture requested, and your device identifier, for rate-limiting and security-audit purposes.
- Crash and diagnostic data — automatically collected if the App crashes, to help us fix bugs. This may include your account identifier.
Quiz progress and scores are stored only on your own device and are not uploaded to or collected by us.
We do not collect location data, contacts, photos, or microphone/ camera access. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell your data to anyone.
How We Use This Information
- To create and maintain your account and course enrollment
- To enforce the device-binding security limit described above
- To diagnose and fix technical problems
- To communicate with you about your account or courses
Who We Share Data With
We use Google Firebase (authentication, database, and crash reporting) to operate the App. Firebase processes data on our behalf under Google's own data protection commitments and does not use it for its own purposes. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
Data Retention & Account Deletion
We retain your account and enrollment data for as long as your account remains active, or as needed to meet legal or administrative requirements. You can permanently delete your account at any time from within the App (Menu → Delete Account) — this immediately removes your profile, enrollment records, and your Firebase account itself. Security/access logs are retained after deletion for audit purposes, consistent with standard security practice.
Your Rights
You can ask us to:
- Show you what personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your account and associated personal data
To make any of these requests, contact us at sohailcollege2032008@gmail.com.
Users Under 18
Many of our students are secondary-school or university age. If you are under 18, you should only use this App with the knowledge and permission of a parent or guardian. If you are a parent or guardian and have questions about your child's data, or want it corrected or removed, contact us at the address above.
Security
We use device-binding, encrypted storage, and content-protection measures to keep course videos and your account secure. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable technical steps to protect your information.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
